One of the most important things when it comes to producing cosmetics is water.
The Odawara plant, where Kanebo Cosmetics are manufactured, is located in the vicinity of the Sakawa River,
whose source lies in the Mount Fuji and Tanzawa mountain ranges. The groundwater in this region
is extremely pure and its quality is ideally suited to the production of cosmetics. Ever since
the factory first came into operation in 1969, we have been creating pure and safe products on the basis
of a production system characterized by thoroughgoing quality control. This plant currently produces around
four-fifths of Kanebo Cosmetic products, which it ships not just throughout Japan but to countries all over
the world. On the basis of a production system incorporating cutting-edge technology combined with water of the
highest quality, we continue to provide our customers with thoroughly satisfying products.
